Featured Author: Judy Penz Sheluk + Giveaway

Today we are featuring new author, Judy Penz Sheluk. Judy is the author the Hanged Man's Noose, the first book in the Glass Dolphin Mysteries.

Check out Hanged Man's Noose at Amazon.

Small-town secrets and subterfuge lead to murder in this fast-moving, deftly written tale of high-stakes real estate wrangling gone amok.

Journalist Emily Garland lands a plum assignment as the editor of a niche magazine based in Lount’s Landing, a small town named after a colorful 19th century Canadian traitor. As she interviews the local business owners for the magazine, Emily quickly learns that many people are unhappy with real estate mogul Garrett Stonehaven’s plans to convert an old schoolhouse into a mega-box store. At the top of that list is Arabella Carpenter, the outspoken owner of an antiques shop, who will do just about anything to preserve the integrity of the town’s historic Main Street.

But Arabella is not alone in her opposition. Before long, a vocal dissenter at a town hall meeting about the proposed project dies. A few days later, another body is discovered, and although both deaths are ruled accidental, Emily’s journalistic suspicions are aroused.

Putting her reporting skills to the ultimate test, Emily teams up with Arabella to discover the truth behind Stonehaven’s latest scheme before the murderer strikes again.

We're giving away one KINDLE COPY of Hanged Man's Noose.

Featured Author: Constance Barker

We would like to introduce our featured author for today... Constance Barker. Constance is the author of the Caesars Creek Mysteries and the Sweet Home Cozy Mysteries.

Constance Barker lives in the Midwest with her husband and two Akitas where she can look out from her screened porch onto a wooded area brimming with activity. Since she was a young girl she read mysteries, often given to her by her grandmother. She loved figuring out who the culprit was and sometimes she was right and other times startled at who the author picked as the assailant. Now she enjoys writing mysteries herself. When she isn't writing stories, she can be found in her favorite vacation spot, Las Vegas or shopping for bargains.

Check out all of Constance Barker's books on Amazon.

With a ice-cream and coffee theme to them both of Constance's series look right up our alley. If you've read her books why not comment and tell us what you thought.

Featured Author: Virginia Lowell

Today's featured author is Victoria Lowell. She is the author of the Cookie Cutter Mysteries. Have you checked these out? If you love baking and mysteries and have a sweet tooth, these are a must!

There are six books in the Cookie Cutter Mysteries, with the newest book coming in July, Dead Men Don't Eat Cookies.

Olivia's mom, Ellie, is always cooking up new schemes, but her latest idea has Livie and Maddie especially excited. Ellie's converting an old boarding house into an arts and crafts school—one that, of course, houses a kitchen for those interested in baking. But right as renovations start, the workers discover a pile of bones buried within the boarding house's walls, evidence of a long-forgotten crime.

A silver necklace with a cookie cutter charm is found within the remains, convincing one of the workers that the bones are the remains of her father, who's been missing for over five years. Of course, Livie and Maddie can't resist the allure of investigating. But they're about to discover that digging up the secrets of the past can be deadly dangerous...
