Book Review: Champagne Murder (Frosted Love Cozy Mystery, #27) by Summer Prescott

Whenever Bed and Breakfast and cupcake shop owner Melissa Gladstone meets someone new, trouble always seems to follow. In this tale of life in sleepy Calgon, Florida, our heroine never dreams that a chance encounter with a sweet, elderly woman will lead to a whirlwind of mayhem and murder.[Summary via Amazon]

In my first story by Summer Prescott I visited Calgon, Florida and met Missy, and her best friends, Echo and Kel, and I was tantalized by both the mouth-watering cupcakes and the thrilling mystery!

This story was shorter than a full length novel, but don't let that put you off. The writer packs a powerful punch of mystery, mayhem and small town charm into it. I enjoyed meeting the characters, and trying to solve the mystery immensely. After finishing I was left wanting more, and I'm glad to see that this is the 27th book in her series. I have plenty more adventures to read.

If you're looking for a great mystery to warm up your January, check out this series!
